iCo Therapeutics Announces $1,140,450 Financing

VANCOUVER, Canada – iCo Therapeutics Inc. (TSX-V: ICO) announced today that it intends to complete a non-brokered private placement to raise gross proceeds of $1,140,450 through the issuance of 3,801,500 common shares at a price of $0.30 per share. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes and working capital. A finder’s fee of 6% will be payable to certain arm’s length third parties with respect to a portion of the private placement.

The private placement is expected to close on or about June 4, 2008 and is subject to regulatory approval, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
